Dr. Ayinka Nurse-Carrington is a scholar-practitioner dedicated to transforming how society addresses conflict and crime

With over 15 years of leadership at the intersection of criminology and restorative justice, I am a scholar-practitioner dedicated to transforming how society addresses conflict and crime. I currently lead the Student Support Services Division at the Ministry of Education, where I pioneered the Restorative Practices in schools a landmark initiative reshaping conflict resolution within educational systems.
My expertise is rooted in a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice, allowing me to bridge the gap between academic research and on-the-ground impact. I specialize in providing strategic consulting on complex regional challenges, including gun violence, defense/security, and prison reform. Whether I am designing large-scale social frameworks or delivering high-impact training, my work is consistently data-
driven and community-focused.
Beyond policy and analysis, I am a certified life coach committed to mentorship and psycho-social support for underserved populations. I am driven by a singular mission: building safer, more resilient communities through evidence-based practice and restorative healing.
